PLA Filament
PLA Filament (Polylactide) is a biodegradable polymer that comes from renewable organic sources (corn starch or sugarcane). PLA Filament is recyclable, but it can also be composted in industrial composting facilities. Due to its low shrinkage factor, PLA does not deform when cooled, making the material ideal for 3D printing with FFF / FDM equipment. Polylactide is a polyester consisting of several lactic acid units. It is colorless and transparent. The density of PLA is about 1.24 g/cc. The glass transition temperature is typically around 50 °C and its melting temperature is 80–150 °C. The decomposition temperature is around 250 °C. Lactic acid polymers are flammable.

Additional information
For best printing results, we recommend keeping the 3D printer in a room with no draft or temperature fluctuations. Keep the 3D printer away from direct sunlight.
When the 3D printer is not in use, it is important to store the 3D4MAKERS PLA Filament in a bag and in a cool (15-25˚C) and dry place protected from UV light until it is used again.
