LUVOCOM® 3F PEI 50236 GY Filament

LUVOCOM® 3F PEI 50236 GY The filament is an ultra-performance polymer based on polyether imide (PEI). This material offers better chemical resistance than ULTEM 9085 because it does not contain PC (polycarbonate). In addition, it has inherent flame resistance and combines excellent chemical resistance properties with excellent thermal and dimensional stability. Our material is optimized for FFF 3D printing. It comes UL94 V0 rated and we have achieved the highest level of FST requirements in the railway industry standards (EN45545-2 R1 HL3). Both ratings were achieved with 3D printed test parts made from our LUVOCOM 3F PEI 50236 GY filament. The material is gray pigmented (RAL7012) to save the color varnishing step.

High temperature resistance Excellent chemical resistance High stability of dimensionally accurate parts Excellent fire resistance (UL V0 and EN 45545-2 R1 HL3)

Printer recommendations

Description Value
Printer nozzle temperature 400 - 450°C
The temperature of the heated substrate >140°C
Print speed 20 - 60 mm/s
Fixing the base Magigoo HT for carbon fiber board or PEI board
Pre-drying recommendations 120°C, >8 hours

For best printing results, we recommend keeping the 3D printer in a room with no draft or temperature fluctuations. When the 3D printer is not in use, it is important to store the filament in a bag and in a cool, dry, dark place until it is used again.
